Just over a month ago we vaguely announced our first not-all-that-official reader contest.  Congratulations to our inaugural VangaWinner: Amelia Howard!  For her efforts and skill, Amelia’s prize is the always amusing, never dull, family and friends game, Apples to Apples.  Coincidentally, Amelia has been borrowing this game, which was given to us as a wedding gift, for the last 4 years.  No shipping necessary; Amelia, you are now the rightful owner forever and ever.

Sweet Amelia submitted her answers via Facebook rather than as a comment on the blog so as not to embarrass all of you who didn’t know as many as she did.  She’s quite brilliant really.  Aside from identifying Sweden as Mexico and a couple of almost disqualifiably broad generalities in her responses such as “the desert, obviously“, “Central America“, and “the East Coast“, she got them all exactly right, schooling everyone else and easily beating all other scores combined.  Well done, Amelia!
