Okay, so we don’t actually own a van, but CR-V doesn’t really fit into “vagabonds” like the word “van”, does it?

We are the Kietzmans, a couple in our 20s who embarked on an open-ended international journey in our “van” with our two dogs in 2012. Originally both from Kansas, we met and married as Jayhawks before moving to North Carolina (raise up!) in 2008. Four years later, the wind led us in a different direction, and we found ourselves driven towards location independence that we might have fewer limits and greater flexibility in our pursuit of furthering the experiences and lessons of living in a new place. Now, living as digital nomads, we work online from wherever we happen to be, which is currently on a slow drive through the Americas, from Canada to Argentina.
